At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Some locations that may experience flash flooding include… Long Branch, Middletown, Howell, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Highlands, Farmingdale, Lincroft, Collingwood Park, Navesink, and East Freehold. This includes the following highways… Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 27 and 29. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 103 and 115.
