Scheduling Construction Inspections
The Uniform Construction Code requires that all inspections, with the exception of MINOR WORK, be requested IN WRITING.
Inspections for a Construction Permit must be scheduled on the Highlands Construction Portal
INSPECTION SCHEDULE
UCC inspections are conducted within the timeframes posted below, unless other special arrangements are made with a Subcode Official. If conditions are such that a specific time frame is needed, please contact the appropriate Subcode Official and accommodations will be made to the extent possible.
In accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.18(c), a request for inspection must be given at least 24 hours prior to the time the inspection is desired. All inspections will be performed within three business days of the time for which it was requested
